Motor vehicle extended warranty survey
Overview
We want to hear from people who have bought, or considered buying, a vehicle from a dealership in Western Australia between 1 Janurary 2023 and 30 June 2025.
The Commissioner for Consumer Protection is undertaking an own motion inquiry into the sale of extended warranty products with new and used motor vehicles, including motor bikes and caravans in Western Australia.
The inquiry is being undertaken because Consumer Protection has observed an increase in consumer complaints and received some concerning information via its advocacy networks relating to the sale of some extended warranty products with new and used vehicles in Western Australia.
- The survey should only take 5 – 10 minutes
- Your responses will be anonymous
- Participation is voluntary.
