Retirement village law changes for operators (online - Mon 10 Aug)
Event overview
New regulations supporting changes to the Retirement Villages Act 1992 (WA) take effect from 1 September 2026.
The reforms will be introduced in stages, giving operators and residents time to understand the changes and prepare for the new requirements.
Information sessions for village operators will:
- outline the staged approach to implementation of the reforms and associated timeframes for each stage
- discuss what operators and managers need to do to prepare for each stage
- give you the opportunity to raise any questions you may have.
