Retirement villages consultation: exit entitlements statements, daily accommodation payments for aged care and renovation plans

Overview

Provisions of the Retirement Villages Amendment Act 2024 come into operation later in 2025 when a new set of regulations to support the retirement villages reforms are ready.

Consumer Protection is consuslting, in stages, with stakeholders, including operators and residents, on the proposed new regulations.

We are using short surveys to seek feedback from retirement village residents on various issues to be covered by the regulations.

The feedback you provide will inform drafting of the new retirement village regulations.
